Christ Community Church

Sitting in our worship service you might wonder if we are a non-denominational church. Actually, we are part of a fast-growing denomination known as the Christian and Missionary Alliance. The Alliance, or C&MA as it is often called, was begun over one hundred years ago as a missionary movement by Albert Benjamin Simpson. The Alliance - Living the call togetherThis movement drew people from many different denominations for the single purpose of bringing the Gospel message to places where the Bible had never been preached. We subscribe to the C&MA doctrinal statement.

Many people who contemplate finding a new church home are coming from churches where they have had deep friendships and found spiritual help for themselves and their families. Many others perhaps have never had a church home. Perhaps you, like others, are skeptical or even turned off by the church, yet you still believe in God and would be part of a church if you could find one that meets your needs.

We hope Christ Community Church can be that place for you. If you are looking for a place to build friendships, worship, and grow in faith, please give us a try!

The mission of Christ Community Church is to expand God's influence in the world by bringing others into a relationship with Christ, building them up in a community of grace, and sending them out as servants into their world.

The values of Christ Community Church:

  • God-Centered
We were created for God's pleasure. We want everything that we do to reflect positively on Him. [Psalm 24]
  • Outreach-Focused
We exist to reach others. Much of our time and money will be spent on people who are not yet here. [Acts 1:8]
  • Prayer-Dependent
We cannot succeed on our own. We will regularly look to God for direction. [John 15:1-17]
  • Culturally-Relevant
We live in a world of constant change. Without compromising what we believe, we will try new ways to present a timeless message. [I Corinthians 9:19-23]
  • Community-Connected
We were made to be in relationships. We will create opportunities to live out our life with God and others. [I Corinthians 12]
  • Worship-Loving
We feel close to God when we are praising Him. We will provide a creative and authentic place for that to happen. [Psalm 27:4]
  • Disciple-Making
We are all "in process" with God. We will do everything we can to keep you moving. [Matthew 28:18-20]
  • Bible-Based
We were put on this earth with an owner's manual. We will use the Bible as the foundation for everything we believe and teach. [II Timothy 3:16]
